    General Species Information

Host Plant: Cordia glabrosa, Host unknown in the Keys

Historical Range: South Florida and the Caribbean

Our Experience with this Species: This has been the most common species of its genus in the Keys. We have found it in every area we have surveyed and it has shown up in most of the months of the year.

Notes: We have raised this species on the blooms of Cordia glabrosa on the Florida mainland. The larva sticks flower petals and leaf liter to itself and blends wonderfully into its environment.
