Keys Moths

BioBlitz

TAXONOMY IS FUN!!! And we want to share the experience with as many people as possible. That is the purpose of our BioBlitz events. The moth fauna of the Florida Keys remains a biological frontier in which we are still discovering new species to the list all the time. Each year, we invite the public to an event held on US Fish and Wildlife Refuge lands to photograph as many species of moths as possible. Images can be emailed to me at david@keysmoths.com. We will then take these images and identify the insect on the pictures. A page on our website will then be created with the images taken giving photo credit to the photographer.
