    Host Plant: Virginia Creeper, Grape species, Cissus,  Vitus

    ​

    Historical Range: SE USA, Caribbean and Cenral America

    ​

    Our Experience with this Species: While the mournful sphinx can be abundant on the mainland of Florida, we have encountered this species infrequently in the Keys. It has been takenn on Key Largo, Bahia Honda, Big Pine, and No Name Keys in the months of March, May, June and December
