    General Species Information

    ​

    Host Plant: dried plant leaves and plant debris, rotting seed pods, and particularly palm thatch

    ​

    Historical Range:  South Eastern USA

    ​

    Our Experience with this Species: This species has shown up to UV lights rarely in the Keys. We found our first specimen on No Name Key in June of 2016. Jim troubridge reports them from Key Largo and Bahia Honda as well.
