Description: Central and South America and the Caribbean. I've heard of sightings of this butterfly in Key Largo and on Elliot Key which would not be surprizing however we are unaware of any confirmed records.
Habitat and Distribution:
Host Plant: Cecropia sps.
Natural History: This is a large, strong flying Nymphalid butterfly that frequents the hammocks and forests of the tropics.
