Description: 27-31 mm. Has long tails on the hindwing. Wings are brown with darker brown stripes. Ventral side is brown with cream colored stripes. Sexes are similar.

 

Habitat and Distribution: Central and South America as well as in Cuba and Jamaica. This species has been reported from Florida several times. One specimen was taken from the Keys in 1985.

Natural History: This species should be concidered a very rare stray to Florida
