    Description: 17-18 mm. Dark brown species with translucent spots on the forewing.

     

    Habitat and Distribution: This species is found throughout the West Indies, Central and South America. It occurs in grassy disturbed areas. 

     

    Host Plant: Unknown

     

    Natural History: Only one specimen has been recorded from Key Largo in 1974. There is no record of this species breeding in the Keys
