    Description: 25-33 mm. This is a very large skipper. With its large size, and blue coloration, it can't be mistaken for any other species

     

    Habitat and Distribution: lives abundantly in mangrove habitats throughout the Keys and can be found in all months of the year

     

    Host Plant: Red Mangrove (Rhizophora mangle)

     

    Natural History: Has a very strong flight. They typically perch on the underside of leaves. They can be found visiting various types of flowers
