Description: 16-19 mm, wide dorsal boarders. Males have a black stigma. Ventral color is brownish yellow. Females are darker than males

 

Habitat and Distribution: swamps. Only unconfirmed reports from the Keys

 

Host Plant: grasses Tripsacum dactyloides and Andropogon gerardii

 

Natural History: Flight is March through October in South Florida
